Installing Air Assist Valve Bypass Fitting in Mira S Redline

If your air assist is weak and you want to troubleshoot the issue. Source a 6mm to 6mm push in fitting and try this.
Power off and unplug the machine. Open the right side electrical panel.

You will need access to the back of this valve knob.

You may want to unbolt the temperature box and set it aside carefully. 2 Phillips head bolts.

1 line in, 2 lines go out.

Locate the correct line to use as a bypass.

The 1 line in should be used.

1 of the 2out lines goes to a sensor, this one should not be used.

This below shows the one going to a sensor. Do not use this one. Disconnect the other line that goes to the nozzle and use it as the bypass connection.


Your display not might show the pressure now since the valve was bypassed. Please test and see if results improve.
