To replace the Vacuum zone valve the first step will be to remove air from the system and disconnect the two black airlines that connect to the malfunctioning valve.
Next remove the two brass fittings that the air lines where connected and set them aside for the new unit. With a set of chain vice's grab hold of the valve body as close to the large brass fitting as possible and unthread the old unit.
Once the old unit has been removed, install Teflon tape around the brass fittings as well as the threads on the new valve and tighten the valve back into position. Using a plumbers snake wrench or the chain vice again to ensure the unit is snug and fully seated. please note that using the chain vice may cause scratches to the new unit.
Now that the valve is installed the brass airline fittings will also have to be installed and re connected. once this has been completed attach the air to the machine and confirm that all leaks have been resolved. double checking all threaded area's for leaks.
