Please see bellow for the re wiring of your machine to accommodate the new Motor starter.
1. un plug or turn off the breaker for your CNC Machine.
2. remove the cable track covers above and bellow your contactor. ( see image bellow.)
3.unscrew the top screw and remove the grey spacers. ( please note there is a section on the bottom side of the spacers that a flat head screwdriver can slide into. if you pry up against the spacer main body it will open up the clip and allow you to remove it.) see image bellow to show you which spacers to remove.
4.slide over the electrical components to the left to make sure the new motor starter will fit to the left of the vacuum pump motor starter.
5. trace the L and N wire from the vacuum pump contactor back to the power distribution block and remove the wires from the power distribution block.
6. install the L and N lines into the top of the Motor starter. see image bellow.
7. using 14 gauge wire connect the bottom of the motor starter to the bottom of the main power contactor. ( PLEASE NOTE: make sure you match L and N lines with the correct L and N Lines on the main contactor. see image bellow.
8. open the dial on your new motor starter and set it to 30. additionally set the dial to 32 on your thermal overload. please see images bellow for more detail.
