MIRA - adjusting belt tension X and Y axis

X AXIS

To adjust the X axis, take off the right side cover of your Mira:

Loosen these 4 bolts on the motor bracket:

Here is a different angle for the 2 in the back:

Loosen off the nut on this bolt and turn in or out the bolt to put more or less tension on the X axis motor belt:

Tighten the nut back against the black metal bracket to hold the adjustment bolt in place and tighten the 4 motor mount bolts when you have finished making your adjustments to the belt tension.

Y AXIS

To get at the Y axis belt and motor, take of the square metal panel close to the back of the machine on the left side:

Locate the motor mount inside this cutout. Loosen the four motor bolts:

Loosen off the nut on this bolt and turn in or out the bolt to put more or less tension on the Y axis motor:

Tighten the nut back against the grey metal bracket to hold the adjustment bolt in place and tighten the 4 motor mount bolts when you have finished making your adjustments to the belt tension.
