MIRA - replacing / removing mirrors

Accessories Required: 3mm Allen Key, 2mm Allen Key, 1.5mm Allen Key, Philips (star) Screw Driver


1. Mirror 1 Replacement

    1. On the 1st Mirror using the 3mm Allen Key remove the 2x bolts on the 2 way mirror housing cover, indicated in blue   circles in Figure 1 below, then take off the 1st housing cover.


    2. On the 1st Mirror using the 3mm Allan key remove the 2x bolts under the 1st housing cover to remove the 2nd mirror cover, indicated in yellow circles in Figure 1 below, then take off the 2nd housing cover.

    3. Using the 2mm Allan Key remove the 4 black bolts on each corner of the mirror housing cover, indicated in blue circles in Figure 2 below, then remove the 3rd housing cover.

    4. Using a Philips Screw Driver remove the 4 screws on each corner of the mirror, indicated in yellow circles in Figure 2 below, then remove the mirror and replace it.

2. Mirror 2 Replacement

    1. On the left side of the gantry remove the 2x silver bolts using the 3mm Allen key to release the mirror and its housing frame from its bracket, as shown in Figure 3 below.

    2. Repeat step 1.1.3 to 1.1.5 to remove and replace the mirror, as shown in Figure 4 below.

3. Mirror 3 Replacement

    1. On top of the lasers head remove the 2x silver screws using the 1.5mm Allen key, indicated in blue circles in Figure 5  below.

    2. Remove the metal strap under the screws then remove and replace the mirror, as shown in Figure 5 below.

    3. The last step is to realign all the mirror and you have successfully replaced or removed, cleaned, and installed all the mirrors.
