Lightburn Install

Connecting to lightburn via Wifi

  1. In the bottom right-hand side of Lightburn press the Devices button
  2. Select Ruida as the controller in the list 
  3. For wifi select Ethernet/UDP 
  4. Enter the IP address from inside of your laser's Z/U Menu under the IP configuration
  5. Name your device as you like and enter the dimensions based on the machine 
  6. Origin of the machine is rear right, then press finish 
  7. With the machine on, connect to the Wifi being Created by the machine should be named MIRA or NOVA or laserXXXX
  8. After connecting to this Wifi and selecting the device you just created your machine should have a Ready Indicator in the bottom right of your lightburn just above the pause button.



Connecting Via USB

  1. In the bottom right-hand side of Lightburn press the Devices button 
  2. Select Ruida as the controller in the list 
  3. For USB select Serial USB 
  4. Name your device as you like and enter the dimensions based on the machine 
  5. Origin of the machine is rear right, then press finish
  6. Ensure that your machine is connected to your computer via the provided USB cord and it is plugged into the USB port labeled USB on the machine
  7. With the machine on and the devices selected lightburn should say ready just above the pause button.
  8. If it does not say ready you may need to install the newest FTDI drivers for your computer. Here is the link for the Windows drivers

        X-Axis : 500mm

        Y-Axis : 300mm

MIRA 7 

        X-Axis : 700mm

        Y-Axis : 450mm

MIRA 9

        X-Axis : 900mm

        Y-Axis : 600mm

NOVA 14 

        X-Axis : 1400mm

        Y-Axis : 900mm
