MIRA 7 - external air install using existing 6mm tubing

Modified on Fri, 2 Dec, 2022 at 12:40 PM

To add external air to the Mira 7 (with existed 6mm air tubing):

1. Locate the air fitting at the back of your Mira 7

2. Take off the right side cover of the Mira 7 (if looking at the front glass of the Mira 7)

3. Locate the other side of the air fitting mentioned in number 1

4. Take off the exhaust venting at the back of the Mira 7

5. Locate the air compressor pump air line and disconnect it from the internal air compressor pump.

6. With this 6mm air hose disconnected on one end, connect the disconnected end to the empty air fitting inside the Mira 7 at the back of the machine.

7. An air line (drawn in light blue in the picture) should now be going from the air solenoid to the air coupler in the back of the Mira 7.
Air solenoid is shown circled in red

8. Attach 6mm air line from a regulated external air compressor (25PSI and below) to the back air coupler on the Mira 7. (depicted by light blue line in the photo). Keep in mind that you may need to buy a air regulator that can be hooked up to your external air compressor and can accept this new 6mm air hose.
