Setup External Air Regulator - Mira/Nova

Modified on Wed, 10 Sep at 10:35 AM

Begin by sourcing or purchasing a regulator to attach to your laser. It's best to have an air dryer canister version, but if your compressor already has a dryer, then you can use a regulator without dryer canister underneath.

The regulator seen below is likely overkill as it has a dryer canister and an oil canister, which both are typically unnecessary for Aeon lasers.

Locate the 6mm push in fitting at the back of your laser and install the hose

Connect your air line and make sure it's regulated to about 20psi. The range can be anywhere from 10psi to 30psi.

VERY IMPORTANT

To use your external vs internal compressor, it's important to program it in lightburn.

In the layer menu, there is an AIR toggle.

GREEN toggle Represents the use of EXTERNAL air

RED Represents the use of INTERNAL air.
