To check that your air compressor is working you can remove the rear panel on your machine and inspect it directly while the machine is on. The location of the compressor is in the image below.
Alternatively, pull the black 6mm air line from the compressor but pushing in the blue collar on the brass fitting. You can gently place masking tape over the tip of the brass connector and run a program with slow speed and 0% power and see if the masking tape gets blown off by the compressor.
