If the Z axis will not go up manually, there may have been a crash that caused the auto focus sensor pin to constantly be in the UP position. This would trigger the "Zlimit-" sensor to constantly be tripped and will not allow the Z axis to move up.
Check the "Diagnoses" screen on the Mira and see if the "Zlimit-" box is illuminated red while the machine is just sitting idle.
Pull down on auto focus pin to clear it from the auto focus sensor if this is the case. Replace pin if bent or damaged. Make sure the auto focus pin will properly actuate up and down.
