Replacing Z Touch Probe

Wiring

- The Z touch probe comes with 3 or 4 wires. Only 3 are required. Red, Black, Green, Yellow. 

- Cut yellow down as it is not required.

- Strip back and twist green + black together

- Strip back red wire

- Install Red into the signal side of the z probe typically title TSS

- Install Black + Green into the 24V power side of the connector

The probe must be calibrated to be accurate

- Open the probe page

- Set the Z offset to 0

Perform a probe touch-off

Bring the tool down to the material and stop once it barely scratches the surface.

Take the number that your machine displays for your Z zero and write that in as Z-Offset

Save settings and test for Z zero accuracy.
