To install the pi burn rotary it must first be installed into the machine and the lightburn is connected to the machine.
Next open the lightburn software and select the quick access rotary tool in the top right hand corner of the screen. ( see image bellow button marked in red square.)
Once selected a pop up window will appear the pulse per revolution must be set to the correct number and confirmed at 25000 pulses per revolution. ( see image below)
finally the rotary can be enabled and disabled using the toggle switch highlighted in the image below.
Once this is done press okay and it will write this information to the controller.
to disable the rotary select enable rotary toggle again so the icon shows red and press okay. the lightbrun must be connected to the machine for this to write and it is recommended to confirm the settings every time the rotary is going to be used.
