Modified on Fri, 20 May, 2022 at 11:33 AM

To replace your laser tube power supply, turn off the laser and have it unplugged from the wall for at least an hour or so (to dissipate all remaining voltage).

1. unravel the electrical tape and loosen the white wire screw on the laser tube. Pull the white wire from the the laser tube area and into the laser tube power supply area

2. unscrew the red wire white barrel connector from the power supply

3. unplug the 2 front green connectors on the front of the laser tube power supply

4. to get out the laser power supply by accessing the top screws, you may need to drop the back mounting plate by taking off these four nuts. 2 on the right side of the mounting plate and 2 on the left side

5. unscrew the black laser tube power supply from the Mira and attach the new laser power supply. Plug in the green front connectors to the new power supply

6. reconnect the red wire white barrel connector to the new power supply

7. thread the new laser power supply white wire up to the laser tube area and attach it back to the laser tube with the screw. Electrical tape all over this screw connection to the laser tube
