We will need several bits of information from you in order to preload your new Masso upgraded controller with your machine settings. Bellow is a list of critical information we need to preload your settings as well as step by step process to locate the information in your machine menu.
1. machine stroke values XYZ
- select the menu key ( bottom right button located in the grey square)
- select 5. mfr param ( Password is 33587550)
- select 4. machine stroke
- select 1. strkupperlmt
- record the number for X and Y.
- press esc
- select 2. strklowerlmt
- record the number for z
2. pulse equivalence
- select menu key
- select 5. mfr param
- select 3. pulse equiv
- record the numbers for X,Y, and Z
3. Max speed
- select Menu key
- select 5. mfr param
- select 1. velocity
- select 7. max speed
- record the numbers in X,Y, and Z
4. reference point retract distance
- select menu key
- select 5. mfr param
- select 6. REF . pointset
- select 3. Retract dist
- record numbers shown in X, Y, And Z
5. Calibrator thickness
- select menu key
- select 5. mfr param
- select 10. calithickness
- record the number in the value section
FOR ATC MACHINES ONLY: please follow the rest remaining steps FOR MANUAL MACHINES: please organize and send us the details we have requested so we can apply these to your new Masso controller.
6. Calibrator coordinate
- select menu key
- select 4. oper param
- select 15. tool change
- select 5. cali coor
- record the Values for X and Y
7. Tool change location
- select menu key
- select 4. oper param
- select 15. tool change
- select 9. tool position
- select tool number 1
- record X Y and Z position
- repeat steps 7.5 and 7.6 until all tool change positions have been recorded.
Once you have completed all these steps please provide us with all the recorded values as well as your machine model and we will input these into your new controller to ensure an easy and hassle free install.
