Masso settings backup and software update - G3

Before you update your Masso G3 software, you should make a BACKUP of your Masso configuration file. To do this follow these instructions:

  • -Ensure your Flash drive is formatted to Fat32
    - 1. Go to F1 screen on Masso controller
    - 2. Click or double tap (G3 touch) the "save & load calibration settings"
  • -Click "save to file" and your configuration will be saved to your USB (circled in red)
  • -Click "save printable file" and a text version of your configuration will be saved to your USB (circled in red)

To put new software version(s) on your Masso controller, follow these instructions:

  • -Ensure your Flash drive is formatted to Fat32
  • -Create a folder called MASSO on the flash drive and copy the software file emailed to you into this Email
  • -On powering the MASSO, immediately press the F1 key repeatedly until the MASSO software load screen appears.-
  • -(for Masso G3 touch) On powering the MASSO, tap the screen repeatedly until the MASSO software load screen appears. If the software load screen does not appear re-power MASSO and start again.  load screen appears.  
  • -If the software load screen does not appear re-power MASSO and start again.
  • -The screen on Masso should show up asking you to use up and down keys to select the software version (located on USB)
  • -Press enter key to select the proper Masso software version
  • -Once the new software loads, press the ESC key to use the new Masso software

NOTE: The software update file name has to include your Masso serial number (attained through Masso myWorkshop) or the update will fail.
